Something’s in the Air
There is something odd going on, but I’m not sure what it is. For the last few nights we’ve been hearing booming like thunder in the distance, always at the same time, but there are no clouds or rain (darnit).
It’s really hot lately. We could sure use a good rainstorm. I love rain.
Today our human cleaned all our water tubs and filled them with fresh water, and made sure we had our two kinds of salt. The neighbors are having a big party, with lots of people in the backyard and in the pool. Hey! Maybe they’ll let me play in their pool someday! Wouldn’t that be fun?
Eeyore and Clementine are hinting that something is up, but that it’s going to be fun - not like the vet coming to do shots. They seem cool about it, and they’ve been living here a lot longer than I have, so I guess everything is alright. We’ll just have to wait and see.
