Right As Rain

My name is Rainy. I'm a spectacular, big, friendly Percheron-cross gelding. I have a wonderful mind, and I'm not bad looking, either! I'm 6 years old this year, and I'm spending the summer in the mountains, where I'm learning to be a proper grown-up horse!

My fancy new blanket! I apologize for its cleanliness in this photo - my human had just put it on me for the first time, and I had not had an opportunity to roll in mud yet. I love rain, and I’m naturally well-insulated, so this isn’t for everyday wearing. I only have to wear it if I’m sick, camping where it’s really cold, or hauling in freezing weater, when I might get stiff muscles from being chilled.
