Right As Rain

My name is Rainy. I'm a spectacular, big, friendly Percheron-cross gelding. I have a wonderful mind, and I'm not bad looking, either! I'm 6 years old this year, and I'm spending the summer in the mountains, where I'm learning to be a proper grown-up horse!

My human took lots of photos of our big weekend. We worked a lot on not pulling on each other. She needs to keep her hands still, so I can figure out where the boundaries are. It was kind of frustrating, because when I’ve pulled on the bit in the past, my rider always let go of the pressure. But now the pressure stays until I stop pulling. I think I’m starting to get it, but at first I had to try a lot of things. She’s the one in purple. The same photos are at each link: The collection of photos, on Flickr
